DECT or Portable Phones are generally used by the Nursing/Care Staff.
Caring for your facility's portable phone
The phones should always be carried in the Pick-Pocket pouches which have been provided to all facilities.
Keep the phones clean for everyone's use by regularly wiping with a damp soft cloth.
If you require more Pick-Pocket pouches, please contact the Marketing team with the quantity required and a supply will be sent to your facility.
Care should be taken when carrying the phones around toilets/wash areas so they are not inadvertently immersed in water as this can cause severe damage and an expense to the facility to have them replaced.
When not in use
Handsets should be returned to their chargers and placed on charge.
