Navigating your App
Staff may notice some differences in the layout of the app if they used the previous version.
Side panel menu icons:
- Profile Bubble - Manage your status, quick access to call forwarding settings (Greetings, Call Forwarding Settings)
- Team - will display all contacts that are in the 3CX system (you can refine this via the Team Contacts List Selection dropdown). The coloured square against each Team contact will let you know of their status (eg "Available" = green)
- Contacts - your custom contacts you have created will show here

Additional Settings
Force incoming call notification to top of your apps:
The default behaviour may have an incoming call hidden behind other open apps. To resolve this:
Settings > Behavior Options > select "Focus on incoming call"
Set Windows App as Calling Device (when you have a Desk Phone)
If you also have a desk phone linked to your account, depending on this setting when you try to make calls it may force the call to using your desk phone rather than the App - to resolve:
Settings > General Options > Desktop Control - ensure the "3CX Softphone" selected and not the Yealink desk phone:
Microphone/Speaker selection
If you are having issues with audio in your call, check the correct AV equipment is selected via:
Settings > Audio Options
TIP: you can also adjust which speaker (headset or laptop) that will be used to notify you of incoming calls. If you are having issues identifying a new call is coming in, consider changing this setting to your laptop speakers.
